Cabins Courtyard Empty Re: Cabins Courtyard

Chase suddenly sat up in his bed, drenched in a cold sweat. Oh.... it was only a dream.... only a dream. It was that dream.
He sighed and slipped out of his warm bed and lightly placed his bare feet onto the cold wooden floor of the Hermes cabin. It was very dark, yet he could hear a bird, deep into the depths of the dark northern forest, begin to sing its morning hymn. Dawn was soon to come.
He grabbed a pair of jeans and a camp shirt, and hid back in his bunk again, and in the murky darkness, changed from his plaid pajama bottoms into the cold unworn clothes. When he emerged again, light had begun to filter in from the windows on either ends of the Hermes Cabin. He could hear his siblings begin to stir.
Chase leaned down and put on a pair of shoes, tying them quickly. He then stood up, intertwined the fingers of both hands and placed them on his head. He walked out of the cabin and into the dewy morning air of summer.
He stood there for a while, seeing the majority of Camp still draped in shadows, though there was that sense that it were getting lighter. After another few moments, he walked right back into his cabin, to his bunk, and grabbed his sword. He picked it up and tied the belt around his waist. When he turned to leave again, more people were shifting in their beds, though not fully awake just yet.
He left his cabin and began to walk past the other cabins in the classic U, his shoes beginning to become damp from the dew on the grass under his feet.

Angela was sitting high-up in one of the many tree's that lined the courtyard. The courtyard was misty and cool in the early morning, and Angela was surprised that she was even awake to see this. One of the downsides of being the kid of a dream god, you never could wake up early. She watched curiously as a teenage boy walk across the yard. Silently, she leaped off the tree branch and onto the ground. She walked slowly behind the boy, staying close to the edges of the buildings so she could hide quickly.

Chase continued walking. He was headed for the arena, hoping that a little sword practice could wake him up.
Suddenly he heard a branch snap. He spun around. "Hello?" he asked, seemingly to no one. He had nothing to hide, but it felt as if someone was stalking him.

Angela ducked behind a tree, trying not to breath to loudly. She didn't exactly know why she was following him, maybe because of the expression he had. Something between fear and worry.

Chase blinked around for a moment. Was he just being paranoid? He shook his head, turned and began to head towards the arena once more.

Angela held her breath, then peeked around the tree. When she saw the back of his head she came out from behind the tree and walked a little faster to catch up. Hopefully once it was brighter out, it would be easier to blend in with the other campers. For now it was a game of hide and seek.

Chase suddenly spun around again, feeling as if he were paranoid. When he saw the girl, his eyes widened, but he grabbed her wrist.

Angela gasped, instead of acting innocent like any normal person would do. She did the opposite. In a panic, she gathered up her energy and let out a surge of her power. The power to make someone fall asleep.

Chase's consiousness slipped and his eyes rolled back into his head as his knees buckled. He fell over onto the dewy ground.

"Oh gods!" Angela kneeled down next to the guy. "Oh gods, oh gods! What the hell have I done?!" she put her ear next to the boys mouth. thankfully, he was breathing. Sometimes she accidentally used enough sleep energy to knock out a Pegasus.
Angela did the only thing she could think of. She grabbed the guy by the wrists and started to drag him into the woods.
